Check out these 10 sea monsters attacking a boat! This top 10 list of ocean creatures like whales and great white sharks attacking a ship shows some bizarre stories caught on camera! Great White Shark If you’ve been on a boat out on the ocean, a Jaws attack has probably crossed your mind. Even if it’s just barely!! Then of course you rationalize that the chances of that happening are practically 0. Practically. That’s what Terry Selwood, a 73-year-old Australian fisherman learned in 2017, when a great white shark leapt out of the water, into his boat!! 9. An Eagle Ray Rays seem like beautiful, serene creatures - but they can be extremely dangerous, even if you’re on the relative safety of a large tourist boat. In 2011, Jenny Hausch had rented a 26-foot catamaran for her family to take a trip in Florida. Sounds really nice right? 8. Swordfish In 2017, Alan Pope, a British tourist, was on a boat trip getting ready to go snorkeling in Indonesia when everything went horribly wrong. Without any warning, a swordfish jumped out of the water and into the boat, and impaled his neck with its bill. The end snapped off, and left six inches of the sword still jabbed inside his neck, just millimeters from instantly killing him. 7. Sperm Whales The Gulf of Alaska is a prime fishing location, especially for those trying to catch black cod. In these waters, though, there is a much larger creature that also likes eating the fish- sperm whales. They are the ocean’s largest toothed predators, and while they are quite capable of catching food for themselves, they much prefer taking the easy route. 6. Giant Squid Mostly creatures of legend, giant squids are mentioned in many old mariners tales of dangers at sea. But they are rarely seen, let alone involved in attacking boats. So when a team of French sailors came face to face with one in 2003, they almost didn’t believe it!! 5. Bull Shark You might think that a great white shark would be the most problematic shark species to boats, but there’s another type that can be more aggressive, and more likely to risk an encounter. 4. Jellyfish Sometimes it’s the smallest things that can have the biggest effect, something that became ever so apparent in 2017 when Chinese scientists were investigating why their aircraft carriers were experiencing difficulties. They found that large swarms of Jellyfish were getting caught up in the propulsion systems! This would stop the ships dead in their tracks, or cause the engines to overheat and cause extreme damage. 3. Mako Shark This next story took place just last year, 2017 in Long Island, New York. A fishing charter boat was taking guests to the location where they find the widest variety of fish, when suddenly a Mako shark jumped onto the side of the boat. Unfortunately for the fish, it managed to get itself stuck in the handrail of the boat and, despite thrashing about, it couldn’t free itself. 2. Black Marlin Game fishing is a popular pastime for many enthusiasts, but when you’re chasing after some of the largest and most powerful marine creatures on earth, you have to be ready for the unpredictable. Again last year, things went very wrong indeed for a fishing boat off the coast of Panama. They had caught a black marlin, a species that can weight up to 1500 pounds and reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. 1. Killer Whale If you’ve ever watched a nature documentary that’s featured Killer Whales, you’ll be all too familiar how organised and clever they can be. Pods work together to catch prey, and even tilt ice flows to trap seals. When they turn these skills towards human activity, the results can be frightening. You are surrounding all my surroundings, Sounding down the mountain range of my left-side brain, You are surrounding all my surroundings, Twisting the kaleidoscope behind both of my eyes. And I'll be holding on to you. Remember the moment you know exactly where you're going, 'Cause the next moment, before you know it, Time is slowing and it's frozen still, And the window sill looks really nice, right? You think twice about your life, it probably happens at night, right? Fight it, take the pain, ignite it, Tie a noose around your mind loose enough to breathe fine and tie it, To a tree, tell it, "You belong to me, This ain't a noose, this is a leash, And I have some news for you, you must obey me." Entertain my faith. Lean with it, rock with it, When we gunna stop with it, Lyrics that mean nothing, we were gifted with thought, Is it time to move our feet to an introspective beat, It ain't the speakers that bump hearts, it's our hearts that make the beat.

Every day, about 10 million people take commercial flights to get from point A to point B. Almost 100,000 planes take off and land without a hitch. But from time to time, very rarely, an accident will happen that seems to spike cases of aviophobia all over the world. Like that time when a captain was partially pulled out of the cockpit, dangling in the sky at an altitude of 17,000 ft! As it usually happens, nothing was amiss at first. The pilots were experienced. The plane seemed to be perfectly Ok and the cabin crew was professional and friendly. No one expected the dramatic outcome that was in store for this flight... At 08:20 AM, the co-pilot performed a routine take-off, and British Airways Flight 5390 left Birmingham, England, and headed toward Malaga, Spain. - Just as the cabin crew was preparing to serve meals, flight attendant Nigel Ogden was entering the cockpit, and there was a loud bang. The passengers were terrified because they thought there was an explosion. - The real cause of the chaos was the left windscreen panel of the cockpit. It had separated from the fuselage of the plane and was blown away. Later, it was found somewhere in Didcot. - Decompression that occurred when the window blew out made the air rush out of the cabin. The captain had already removed his lap belt. That's why the man was literally ripped out of his seat and sucked out of the missing windscreen. - Recalling the accident later, one of the passengers told the press that she had noticed a man who had been hanging out of the window, and two other men and a woman had been holding onto his legs, trying to prevent him from being sucked out. - Meanwhile, the passengers thought the plane was on fire and started to panic. The cockpit door was sucked inward and collided with the control console, blocking some parts of it. - The plane didn't have enough oxygen for everyone on board. That's why the co-pilot was in a hurry to descend to an altitude where the passengers and crew could breathe normally. After he fulfilled this task, he immediately broadcasted a distress call. - Despite their assumption that the man had already lost his life, the crew was still holding onto his body. They were still clinging to him even when the plane made the emergency landing at the airport of Southhampton. - Naturally, the man was in a state of shock, but he managed to return to work in less than five months and didn’t retire from commercial piloting until 2008. - Investigators discovered that 27 hours before the flight, when the windscreen was installed, 84 of the bolts used in the process were too small in diameter, and the rest of the bolts were too short! - But the accident with British Airways Flight 5390 hasn't been the only accident when a crew member barely escaped being pulled out of the plane. - On May 14, 2018, a Sichuan Airlines flight was heading from China to Tibet. When the plane reached the cruising altitude of 32,000 ft (9,753 m), the right windshield suddenly exploded with a deafening bang. - The captain, who was a former military pilot, managed to regain manual control over the Airbus A319, and the plane made an emergency landing at the airport of Chengdu. Migrant sea deaths in the Mediterranean have dropped to the lowest levels in years, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported Saturday. According to the IOM, 515 migrants have either died or gone missing in the first five months of 2019, compared to 664 during the same period of 2018; 1,738 in 2017; 2,557 in 2016; and 1,806 in 2015. Of those who died in 2019, only 260 died in the “Central Mediterranean Route,” which would be headed toward Italy. Migrant arrivals to Europe have correspondingly dropped, with 24,687 arriving in Europe in the first five months of 2019, compared to 43,765 in 2018; 76,501 in 2017; and 212,981 in 2016, during the same period. Last January, Italian daily La Verità reported that “the Salvini method works,” referring to plummeting migrant deaths following the border controls put in place by Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who has insisted that open ports fuel human trafficking and encourage migrants to undertake perilous sea crossings. There was no solution under the former Matteo Renzi government, the newspaper observed, because Mr. Renzi insisted he could do nothing without European Union (E.U.) approval and then wrung his hands when the E.U. did nothing to resolve the problem. “The proof is that after years of useless chatter the departures and arrivals have diminished, indeed almost ceased,” the newspaper declared. “And with falling departures and arrivals, the deaths have also declined. Yes, the statistics say that despite alarms raised by NGOs, as the number of refugees who board a vessel is reduced, deaths have also been reduced.” Last February, the head of Italy’s largest migrant reception center said that policies encouraging mass migration had done far more harm than good to Italy and to migrants. Francesco Magnano, the director of the Reception Center for Asylum Seekers (CARA) of Mineo, said that left-wing “do-gooder” activists helped lead to thousands of deaths in the Mediterranean. “From 2014 to 2017, our ports have been opened without limits and we have recorded 15,000 deaths at sea,” Magnano said, adding that closing the borders, as Mr. Salvini has done, would “force Germany and France to sit down at the negotiating table.” According to the United Nations’ migrant department (UNHCR), 2,269 migrants sea deaths occurred in the Mediterranean during 2018 after Mr. Salvini took over as interior minister, down from 3,139 in 2017 and 5,096 in 2016, when migration across the Mediterranean to Europe was at its peak. Italy saw a remarkable drop in immigrant arrivals in 2018, with 23,370, down from 119,369 the previous year, the UNHCR reported. The decline in migrant sea deaths due to tougher immigration policies would seem to demonstrate that tighter borders help save lives, contrary to the fallacious argument to the contrary, La Verità noted. https://bit.ly/2M7DaI9 https://bit.ly/2M8CtOM

Russia has sent a fleet of warships towards Australia ahead of the G20 summit of world leaders to be held in Brisbane this weekend. The Russian fleet includes the guided missile cruiser Varyag, destroyer Marshal Shaposhnikov, the tug boat Fotiy Krylov and supply tanker Boris Butoma, the Australian reported. The fleet left Vladivostok on October 23. The fleet was believed to be in the Coral Sea, South of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea on Wednesday evening, news.com.au reported. The warships could be in waters off Brisbane by Saturday, according to 7 News. Australia deployed the naval ships HMAS Parramatta and HMAS Stuart to monitor the Russian ships in the Coral Sea earlier this week. An Australian P-3 Orion surveillance aircraft was also sent to shadow the Russian warships, the Australian reported. The Russian embassy has said the warships were performing routine activities and had no intention of entering Australian waters, unless by invitation, according to the Australian. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. A Houston taxi driver made an unusual friend during Hurricane Harvey. William Bruso returned to his taxi after getting food to find a hawk sitting on the passenger seat. Dubbed Harvey, the Coopers hawk refused to leave his shelter. Bruso made sure the bird wasn't injured and tried to release him but Harvey seemed unwilling to brave the storm on his own. Eventually, Bruso agreed to let the hawk stay until the hurricane has passed. Top worst cruise ship incidents! These are the worst cruises and cruise ships that sank and the most horrible cruise ship events! 8. Norwegian Dawn Perhaps one of the biggest threats people tend to think about while aboard a cruise ship is a giant wave crashing into it and toppling it over… or an iceberg. Well, people’s nightmares were brought to life on a ship in April 2005. The Norwegian Dawn sailed from New York on the 10th but the sea didn’t strike until its returning voyage. The vessel was sailing through stormy weather when it was hit by three rogue waves in a row! Although they didn’t knock it over, the 70-foot giants caused damage to the ship by breaking many windows on the 9th and 10th decks. They also caused a substantial amount of flooding to 62 staterooms. Plus, the hull of the Dawn was bent when its extra anchor smashed into it. Luckily, only four people ended up with small injuries. The made a diversion to Charleston, South Carolina to fix the ship and continued shortly after to New York. Although they endured a frightening night aboard the Norwegian Dawn, the passengers received half of their money back, half of the cost of a future cruise, and free drinks for the remainder of the trip. 7. Carnival Triumph In February 2013, another unfortunate event took place aboard the Carnival Triumph. Passengers delighted in pina-coladas and sunbathing when the ship began its voyage; however, about halfway through the cruise, something adverse happened. The vessel’s engine room caught fire, causing the Triumph to lose power in the Gulf of Mexico. As you can imagine, losing power means losing just about every convenience a cruise ship has to offer; the propulsion system went down, as well as the air conditioning, lights, and septic system. Passengers were stuck in the middle of the gulf without cool air, warm air, or any place to relieve themselves that wasn’t disgusting. Bags upon bags of human waste piled up around the Triumph, and people were forced to live in the unsanitary conditions for four days as the ship was towed back to shore. Carnival received a lot of backlash for this event as the fire was caused by negligence and improper care of the vessel. The Triumph ultimately earned the name “poop cruise,” which people still use to refer to it today.

Check out these animals found frozen in ice! This top 10 list of amazing animals discoveries has some ancient animals that were frozen in time for eternity! 10. The Yuka Mammoth The Yuka mammoth is one of the most well known and scientifically valuable animals that have ever been found. It was discovered in 2010 within the Siberian permafrost on the coast of the Laptev Sea in Russia. The most unusual thing about this 39,000-year-old mammoth was that it was mummified, and had the most in-tact mammoth brain ever found, with folds and blood vessels still visible. Finding specimens like this is incredibly helpful to understanding the species. Studies of the brain showed it to be very similar to modern day elephants, and also led to researchers to developing better ways of storing mammoths in the future when new ones are found. Along with the Yuka mammoth, a number of other ones have been found in the region, although not in as good condition, and have been highly sought after by researchers for a different purpose. Because of their relatively intact DNA, and their status as an intriguing extinct animal that is very similar to some that exist today, the mammoth is a great candidate for bringing a species back from extinction using cutting edge technology. It is believed that with a bit of luck and perseverance, we might once again see these giants alive and well, and maybe within just a few years! I would definitely love to see that! 9. Moose It’s rare enough to find an animal preserved in ice, but rarer still is the apparent freezing of two animals when they’re interacting with each other. Well this is what a couple of hikers found in Alaska in 2016. Beneath 8 inches of ice was the stunning sight of two moose fighting each other, clearly so engrossed in their tussle that they failed to notice the approaching frost. In the fall, males tend to be more aggressive towards each other, likely due to territorial disputes or to gain the attention of a female, and at some point these two managed to get their antlers tangled. They probably drowned in the cold water before being frozen over as temperatures fell. Soon after their discovery, the moose were removed from the ice by local enthusiasts who wanted to preserve the unusual find forever. 8. Fish As a fish living in water, ice can be both a blessing and a curse. It’s the unique property of ice floating on top of water that helps to insulate warmth and allow fish to survive falling temperatures, but they aren’t always so lucky. In 2014, a sharp cold eastern wind sent temperatures plummeting very quickly around the island of Lovund in Norway, and instantly froze parts of the ocean. Unfortunately for a large shoal of fish, thought to be attempting to escape a predator at the time, there was no chance to avoid the approaching ice, and they were frozen in place. The ice sheet was so thick that it was perfectly safe for people to walk across, and capture these amazing images of thousands of fish frozen in time. This event had a major impact on the local ecosystem, because birds were unable to find any food, so the skies were strangely silent until the ice finally thawed. 7. Yukagir Bison Siberia is one of the coldest places on earth that has been regularly inhabited for millennia. This makes it the perfect place to find frozen animals like the Yuka mammoth, and close by there was another discovery in 2011, the mummified remains of a Steppe Bison- the ancestor to the modern bison. Discovered by a tribe in the Yana-Indigirka Lowland, the bison was remarkably intact, with its brain and other organs almost perfectly preserved. This is the most complete Steppe Bison ever to be found, and has allowed researchers to extensively study its brain, heart, digestive system and blood vessels, despite it being well over 9000 years old. With no visible signs of injury, it is thought that the lack of body fat around its abdomen is a clue as to how it died. Most likely from starvation as a result of the rapidly changing environment in the area at the time. 6. Selerikan Pony In 1968, gold miners digging tunnels, about 30 feet below the surface of the Indigirka River in Siberia, found something surprising- two legs and a tail of a pony sticking through the roof of one of their tunnels. Experts were called in from the Zoological institute of St. Petersburg to help recover the full animal, which they managed to do, apart from its head. The body turned out to be of a Przewalski (prez walski) Horse, that nowadays is only found in Mongolia, and amazingly this one appeared to have died about 35,000 years ago. Analysis of the remains suggested that the horses lived relatively similar then to how they still do today. Check out these animals about to go extinct! This top 10 list of endangered species has some of the most rare animals that exist in the world today! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "Most TERRIFYING Sea Monsters Ever!" video here: https://youtu.be/B9aPB6KB504 Watch our "Animals that ALMOST went EXTINCT!" video here: https://youtu.be/SvPyCZNY6JY Watch our "8 Times Humanity ALMOST Ended!" video here: https://youtu.be/GVPgu7QbU9c 10. Ocean Quahog The Ocean Quahog, or Arctica Islandica, is a large bivalve that grows up to ten centimeters tall. Large populations can be found in the ocean waters around Iceland, but they live buried beneath the sea bed all across the Atlantic Ocean. They hold the record for being the longest known living creatures on our planet, with one specimen that was caught in 2006 thought to be about 507 years old. This means it would have been born in 1499. Despite their longevity, the Ocean Quahog has been put on the list of at-risk species of the North-East Atlantic Ocean because numbers have been plummeting. This has happened due to extensive fishing to send to the USA for the manufacture of clam chowder soup, increased pollution of the seas by plastic and chemical waste, and the destruction of their habitats by deep sea dredge fishing. 9. The Vaquita The Vaquita, a small species of porpoise, was only first discovered in 1958- but today finds itself as being the world’s rarest marine mammal and on the brink of extinction. They are native to the Gulf of California off the coast of Mexico, where large numbers used to gather, but numbers have severely fallen because of human activity in the area. A study in 1997 estimated a population in the region of only 600, but this fell to 100 in a similar survey in 2014 and most recently, in 2016, the total number is though to be around 30. That’s a population decline of over 92 percent since 1997, and means this glorious creature sadly doesn’t have much time left. Unlike other animals that are facing extinction because of hunting, the loss of Vaquita’s is mainly as a by-product of the fishing of an endangered fish called the Totoaba. This large, 300 pound fish is highly sought after for its swim bladder that is popular in Chinese medicine and, as a result, commands a high price. The gillnets that are used to catch the Totoaba also traps large numbers of Vaquita and has been the single most destructive factor towards Vaquita numbers. Despite the Mexican governments attempts to limit the fishing of the Totoaba for this reason, even banning the use of gillnets in 2015 for two years and setting up wildlife refuges, the porpoise has not been able to recover because there are still lots of trawlers using the nets illegally. 8. Javan Rhinoceros Rhinos are one of the more famous animals of the world that are endangered, but rather than the more well-known white and black Rhinos from Africa, the most at-risk type of the five different species is the Javan Rhinoceros. They used to be prevalent across south east Asia, but with the last Javan Rhino of Vietnam having been poached in 2010, the only known remaining ones all live in the Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia. They are very similar in appearance to the closely related “Greater One-Horned Rhino” and are a dusky grey color with one horn that grows up to about ten inches long. The loose folds of their skin make them look like they have armor plating, and they are thought to live for between thirty and forty years. With only around 60 of these Rhinos left in the wild, and none in captivity, their future survival depends on the ability of park rangers to protect them from the threat of poachers- who hunt them for their valuable horns that are a valuable commodity across the region for their supposed medicinal properties.

Recent findings reveal the truth that has been buried for over one hundred years. Scientists have debunked the theory that the cause of the Titanic sinking was an iceberg. Why did Titanic sink? What's the real cause of the Titanic crash? HOW TITANIC SANK On April 14th, 1912 at 11:40 p.m. RMS Titanic had a terrible accident that led to its ultimate demise 3 hours later. By 2:20 a.m. in the early morning of April 15th, the biggest ship of its time had completely disappeared under the ice-cold surface of the Atlantic Ocean. The Titanic took more than 1,500 lives with it as it sank to its watery grave. TITANIC MYSTERY The cause of this horrible disaster leading to so many deaths was an iceberg the ship crashed into. Or so we’ve always been told... But scientists’ most recent findings have debunked this theory. In this video, we’ll tell you the whole truth that has been buried for over one hundred years. TIMESTAMPS How Titanic sank 0:08 How Titanic was made 1:00 The real cause of the catastrophe 3:04 The interior of the Titanic 5:10 Another tragic coincidence 6:20 Another criminal negligence: the lifeboats 7:23 Some people also blame Captain Smith 8:25 HOW TITANIC WAS MADE The Titanic had 4 massive smokestacks. Each of them weighed 60 tons, and they extended 81.5 feet above the deck. Such an impressive height was necessary to avoid covering the passengers in 100 tons of soot blown off daily. The smokestacks were placed at a 30° angle to look even more astonishing and imposing. No less awe-inspiring was the cost of the ship. Its construction demanded $7,500,000. If we take into account modern exchange rates and inflation, in 2016 they would be paying $166,000,000. Surprisingly, it would turn out cheaper than the production of the world-famous movie Titanic in 1997, which cost $200,000,000! Criminal negligence, tragic and unfortunate chain of coincidences, fire or ice: whatever it was, it took the lives of hundreds of people and still keeps the minds of scientists busy to this day. Diving can be truly magical and surreal, and it’s very true when they say you leave your worries at the surface when you go under. However, things can and do go wrong, and today we have a look at some pretty terrifying stories of forgotten divers and crazy experiences. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 6 - Lost and Found… Here’s a creepy story, submitted by team-pterodactyl on Reddit I tells the story of how a diver found a body on the ocean floor. Off the Florence / Oregon coast, he and some friends went for a dive and were not expecting to find a surfer that had gone missing a few days prior. The surfer had been exposed to crabs and fish, and was basically just a torso, skull and skeletal limbs – while all exposed bits were fish food. 5 – Movies are made from this… This tragic tale was actually made into a movie, and features the story of Tom and Eileen Lonergan who went missing in 1998. The couple were diving on the Great Barrier Reef and their tour boat accidentally left them behind. Nobody realized they were missing for 3 whole days! Search parties were sent out, but the couple could not be found. 17 aircraft, helicopters and boats were dispatched to find the couple, but the search was fruitless. They searched for many days until they eventually found Eileen’s wetsuit and a divers slate begging for help. Sadly, the bodies were never recovered and it was assumed they were devoured by sharks. The 2003 movie, Open Waters, was all about this exact incident. 4 - Dive In… You might be surprised to learn that there is a society that exists called the Paranormal Divers. It’s the job of these divers to go underwater to look for anything paranormal. They claim to have taken the world’s first photo of an underwater ghost. One diver claims to have heard screams coming from the bottom of a cavern that they were diving in, and snapped this image which they believe looks like a diver’s face mask. They have other findings if you’d like to go and check them out at paranormaldivers.com. 3 - Double Tragedy… This tragic tale took place in Bushman’s Cave in South Africa, when in 1994, Deon Dreyer drowned. He was 20 at the time, and had already accomplished 200 dives. Sadly, the body was never found and his parents left a commemorative plaque at the cave. A decade later, while diving in the cave – David Shaw discovered the body in depths of 890-feet. He and his friend Don Shirley went back to try and recover the body. Things went really badly for the men, as Shaw lost his light below the surface and became tangled in the ropes they were using to hoist the body up and Shirley had his equipment malfunction. Shirley developed a helium bubble, lost consciousness, was spinning, disoriented and struggled immensely to try get out of the cave. He was trapped in the water for 10-hours without realizing that his friend, Shaw, didn’t make it. Sherley suffered permanent damage in the process, and eventually the body of Shaw did float to the surface with the body of Dreyer attached. They did achieve what they set out to, but at an unimaginable cost. 2 - Mysterious circumstances… There’s still confusion about what exactly happened with Bethany Farrell, a 23-year old student who passed on during her first scuba dive. She was so excited for this amazing opportunity, but things went horribly wrong. She somehow got separated from her instructor and within half an hour, she was lying on the seabed, no longer alive. When investigations were taking place, her family wanted all her photos from the day of the tragedy, and strangely – every single photo from the boat had been deleted. No foul play was suspected, but it doesn’t explain why all of those images are gone. Very, very weird. 1 – Foul Play... This is a story that captured the attention of media across the world. It involved a newly wed couple who went off on their honeymoon, and only one returned. The image that was captured was purely accidental, but it says everything. You see the lifeless body of Tina Watson on the seabed floor. Her husband, Gabe, was accused of orchestrating it. They were diving near a shipwreck in Townsville, Australia, when Tina became distressed and reached for Gabe’s oxygen mask. Her husband, who was an experienced diver and who also had a rescue qualification, did nothing to help her. Instead he watched as she sank downwards and he swam toward the surface. The coroner stated that Gabe switched her air off, and then switched it back on when he pushed her down, knowing she wouldn’t make it. He was found guilty, and had to spend a few years in jail in Australia. He has since remarried to someone who bears a strong resemblance to his former wife.

❀ Thank you for your constant support and engagement! We have received many stories and are working on animating them! ❀ A PROFESSIONAL Voice Actor will record your story! We do everything to keep your identity private, unless you wish differently! Hi all, I’m Owen. When I was two, my mum and dad split up and I was brought up with dad. Mum moved to a nearby town with her new boyfriend, whilst dad has introduced me to a lot of potential stepmums over the years. Dad’s done great, but he isn’t perfect. He works long hours doing security, so I spend a lot of time with my grandparents. They’re awesome, but they are old. So, they don’t always keep an eye on what I’m doing. Because of this, I’m with friends most of the time. Hank is my closest friend. I met him a couple of years ago at school. His home-life is as dysfunctional as mine. His dad has spent time in prison for robbing and his brother, Tony, has had a few run ins with the police too. Due to all this, me and Hank have had each other’s backs. Sometimes, blood isn’t always thicker than water…or however the expression goes. One day, me and Hank were hanging out after school. We were sitting on a bench at the sea-front. We got talking about a new video game that was coming out. But neither of us had any money. I suppose we could’ve watched videos on YouTube of people playing, but it’s not quite the same. We started thinking about a way to make some money quickly. There weren’t any jobs for people our age in town. We were really stuck. If we didn’t get the game, our other mates would take the mick out of us. Hank came up with an idea, “hey, you know Tony might know a way for us to make money”. I immediately didn’t like the sound of that. I replied, “but, he’s into some really dodgy stuff. I don’t wanna get into anything like that”. Hank attempted to reassure me by saying, “nah, it’ll be fine. I’ll speak to him tonight and I’ll tell you tomorrow”. It didn’t exactly fill me with confidence as Hank walked off towards his house. The next day at school, I was playing football with some mates. Hank walks up to me. Hank had spoken to Tony about our money wishes. “Tony has a great idea”, Hank said, “So, Tony’s mate has some trainers he wants to get rid of. Like 20 pairs of ‘em. Tony’ll give us the trainers to sell. We just give him a cut of what money we make”. At the time, I didn’t see anything bad about this. I should have asked more questions. Hank’s bright, but he can be blind when it comes to his family. “Sell them to who though?”, I asked. Hank shrugged. Then he was hit with an idea. We would sell the trainers to other kids at school. At ours and the other school on the other side of town. “They’d be more likely to buy from us, people their own age, rather than some random adult, right?”, Hank stated. But I couldn’t fault his thinking and agreed to sell the trainers with him. The following week, we had received the box filled with trainers from Tony. I had the box stashed at my grandparent’s house. We then began our journey into being entrepreneurs. Sorta. At school, we told all our mates that we had trainers to sell. A lot of them snapped them up and paid. We made a good couple of hundred pounds in the first week. The trainers go for £100 in the shops, but we were selling them for £50. Bargain for them, so they had to buy them. But we ran out of friends who wanted or could afford to buy the trainers. This is when we had to start selling to others. We got word around school that were selling these expensive trainers really cheaply. We started to get loads of people interested and it wasn’t long until we ran out of trainers to sell. Which meant we could afford to get the game we wanted. But now, we had a taste for making money. Hank went back to Tony to see if there were any more trainers from his mate. Luckily, Tony managed to get hold of another box! Me and Hank decided to try selling to the other school. One day, we skived off school and went to the other school just as they were finished for the day. Hank was great at selling things, he went up to kids as they were leaving school and told them about our business, as I stood guard with the trainers. No one bought the trainers then, but there were a lot that promised us they would. We said we’d be back here after school tomorrow. The next day, me and Hank got on our bikes and rode straight to my grandparent’s. I grabbed the bag that had a few pairs of trainers in it and we left. We got to the other school and there were a few kids looking for us. Me and Hank grinned at each other, this was all going amazing. We felt like Richard Branston had nothing on us. We got cocky. We sold the trainers to three kids, but around the corner, a couple of police officers approached us. Hank saw them first and ran off. Before I realised what was happening, the police had grabbed me. I watched as Hank glanced back at me but kept running. He abandoned me. The police picked up the trainers and took me to the police station.

The best way to explore a new world is to land on it. That's why humans have sent spacecraft to the Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn's moon, Titan, and more. But there are a few places in the solar system we will never understand as well as we'd like. One of them is Jupiter. Jupiter is made of mostly hydrogen and helium gas. So, trying to land on it would be like trying to land on a cloud here on Earth. There's no outer crust to break your fall on Jupiter. Just an endless stretch of atmosphere. The big question, then, is: Could you fall through one end of Jupiter and out the other? It turns out, you wouldn't even make it halfway. Here’s what would happen if you tried to land on Jupiter. *It's important to note that we feature the Lunar Lander for the first half of the descent. In reality, the Lunar Lander is relatively delicate compared to, say, NASA's Orion spacecraft. Therefore, the Lunar Lander would not be used for a mission to land on any world that contains an atmosphere, including Jupiter. However, any spacecraft, no matter how robust, would not survive for long in Jupiter, so the Lunar Lander is as good of a choice as any for this hypothetical scenario. First things first, Jupiter's atmosphere has no oxygen. So make sure you bring plenty with you to breathe. The next problem is the scorching temperatures. So pack an air conditioner. Now, you're ready for a journey of epic proportions. For scale, here's how many Earths you could stack from Jupiter's center. As you enter the top of the atmosphere, you're be traveling at 110,000 mph under the pull of Jupiter's gravity. But brace yourself. You'll quickly hit the denser atmosphere below, which will hit you like a wall. It won't be enough to stop you, though. After about 3 minutes you'll reach the cloud tops 155 miles down. Here, you'll experience the full brunt of Jupiter's rotation. Jupiter is the fastest rotating planet in our solar system. One day lasts about 9.5 Earth hours. This creates powerful winds that can whip around the planet at more than 300 mph. About 75 miles below the clouds, you reach the limit of human exploration. The Galileo probe made it this far when it dove into Jupiter's atmosphere in 1995. It only lasted 58 minutes before losing contact and was eventually destroyed by the crushing pressures. Down here, the pressure is nearly 100 times what it is at Earth's surface. And you won't be able to see anything, so you'll have to rely on instruments to explore your surroundings. By 430 miles down, the pressure is 1,150 times higher. You might survive down here if you were in a spacecraft built like the Trieste submarine — the deepest diving submarine on Earth. Any deeper and the pressure and temperature will be too great for a spacecraft to endure. However, let's say you could find a way to descend even farther. You will uncover some of Jupiter’s grandest mysteries. But, sadly, you'll have no way to tell anyone. Jupiter's deep atmosphere absorbs radio waves, so you'll be shut off from the outside world— unable to communicate. Once you've reached 2,500 miles down, the temperature is 6,100 ºF. That's hot enough to melt tungsten, the metal with the highest melting point in the Universe. At this point, you will have been falling for at least 12 hours. And you won't even be halfway through. At 13,000 miles down, you reach Jupiter's innermost layer. Here the pressure is 2 million times stronger than at Earth's surface. And the temperature is hotter than the surface of the sun. These conditions are so extreme they change the chemistry of the hydrogen around you. Hydrogen molecules are forced so close together that their electrons break lose, forming an unusual substance called metallic hydrogen. Metallic hydrogen is highly reflective. So, if you tried using lights to see down here it would be impossible. And it's as dense as a rock. So, as you travel deeper, the buoyancy force from the metallic hydrogen counteracts gravity's downward pull. Eventually, that buoyancy will shoot you back up until gravity pulls you back down, sort of like a yo-yo. And when those two forces equal, you'll be left free-floating in mid-Jupiter, unable to move up or down, and no way to escape! Suffice it say, trying to land on Jupiter is a bad idea. We may never see what's beneath those majestic clouds. But we can still study and admire this mysterious planet from afar. Rescue in the Desert There was a disciple of the Blessed One, full of energy and zeal for the truth, who, living under a vow to complete a meditation in solitude, flagged in a moment of weakness. He said to himself: "The Teacher said there are several kinds of men; I must belong to the lowest class and fear that in this birth there will be neither path nor fruit for me. What is the use of a hermit's life if I cannot by constant endeavor attain the insight of meditation to which I have devoted myself?" And he left the solitude and returned to the Jetavana. When the brethren saw him they said to him: "You have done wrong, brother, after taking a vow, to give up the attempt of carrying it out"; and they took him to the Master. When the Blessed One saw them he said: "I see, mendicants, that you have brought this brother here against his will. What has he done?" "Lord, this brother, having taken the vows of sanctifying a faith, has abandoned the endeavor to accomplish the aim of a member of the order, and has come back to us." Then the Teacher said to him: Is it true that you have given up trying?" "It is true, Blessed One," I was the reply. The Master said: "This present life of yours is a time of grace. If you fail now to reach the happy state you will have to suffer remorse in future existences. How is it, brother, that you have proved so irresolute? Why, in former states of existence you wert full of determination. By your energy alone the men and bullocks of five hundred wagons obtained water in the sandy desert, and were saved. How is it that you now give up?" By these few words that brother was re-established in his resolution. But the others besought the Blessed One, saying: "Lord! Tell us how this was." "Listen, then, mendicants!" said the Blessed One; and having thus excited their attention, he made manifest a thing concealed by change of birth. Once on a time, when Brahmadatta was reigning in Kasi, the Bodhisattva was born in a merchant's family; and when he grew up, he went about trafficking with five hundred carts. One day he arrived at a sandy desert many leagues across. The sand in that desert was so fine that when taken in the closed fist it could not be kept in the hand. After the sun had risen it became as hot as a mass of burning embers, so that no man could walk on it. Those, therefore, who had to travel over it took wood, and water, and oil, and rice in their carts, and traveled during the night. And at daybreak they formed an encampment and spread an awning over it, and, taking their meals early, they passed the day lying in the shade. At sunset they supped, and when the ground had become cool they yoked their oxen and went on. The traveling was like a voyage over the sea: a desert-pilot had to be chosen, and he brought the caravan safe to the other side by his knowledge of the stars. "Thus the merchant of our story crossed the desert. And when he had passed over fifty-nine leagues he thought, "Now, in one more night we shall get out of the sand, and after supper he directed the wagons to be yoked, and so set out. The pilot had cushions arranged on the foremost cart and lay down, looking at the stars and directing the men where to drive. But worn out by want of rest during the long march, he fell asleep, and did not perceive that the oxen had turned round and taken the same road by which they had come. The oxen went on the whole night through. Towards dawn the pilot woke up, and, observing the stars, called out: "Stop the wagons, stop the wagons!" The day broke just as they stopped and were drawing up the carts in a line. Then the men cried out: "Why, this is the very encampment we left yesterday! We have but little wood left and our water is all gone! We are lost!" And unyoking the oxen and spreading the canopy over their heads, they lay down in despondency, each one under his wagon. 24/5/2019 - និយាយរឿងកូនធ្វើបាបម្តាយ , លោកម្ចាស់ឡុង ចន្ថា - long chantha : Buddhism is said to have the education and the General People Do Good . ***************************** ► YOUTUBE : https://goo.gl/Jga354 ►Facebook Page :https://goo.gl/gZxiVu ► Dhamma Education : https://goo.gl/q4UvFw ****************************** ❤ Like ✅Share ☑️ Comment

Please support me, https://www.paypal.me/hongkongmap or https://streamlabs.com/hongkongmap (where your name and amount will appear on the Live Streaming.) ----------------------------- My name is Dennis. In 2009, I opened this channel to record or document this city. I know something is being changed in next decade(s), or I felt the change have began since 2003, no later in 2046. I want to, at least, save some kind of city life in video form instead of taken photo or written in words. I strongly believe that motion picture and sound recording are much better way to preserve and present in the future when young generation want to get know of Hong Kong. In May of 2018, I wrote the following statement in below: ..................................................................................... "Hi everyone, thank you for supporting me in fulfilling my " childhood dream" of making videos. My parents had always taken a tolerant attitude toward my “capricious”: whether my work is feasible and sustainable... and they never complained about it. As my father just passed away in May, I am left with no choice but to give up my video making venture. In Hong Kong where the cost of living is sky high, youtube video making is simply not sustainable by google adsense alone. The revenue produced is way too insufficient for affording a domestic helper, and I must look after my mom all by myself - this is why I must stay very close to her at all times. Unless my revenue is closed to market rate, or my income can cover a domestic helper, otherwise I can hardly justify any video-related works. Therefore, from now on everything video will be postponed in terms of year(s). Thank you, and hope to see you all again in the future." .............................................................. Because I am the only son of my mother in Hong Kong, and I have to take care of her at home. I almost give up this channel because of high consumption of time and living cost. But I found some extra time. I live in Fanling, north part of New Territories, so it will include my showtime of traveling back and forth. Because of home care to my old mother, there will be no time other than 9:00 to 16:00 because my mother is staying at the senior daycare center, so before and after that, I will NOT able to do filming. I understand most of you are looking for high quality of video, e.g. 4K or 8K. But hardware is so important at this post-production, that is, the higher quality video, the higher powerful computer to render video. In recently, I solved matter by paid for PowerDirector apps to make 4K on my Pocophone F1, 1 hour of 4K video = 2 hour to make, besides, the convert 4K file time is around 24 hours...... I will continue to run this channel as long as the time is fit-on-me or I don't see any kind of video job could fit me. I hope this is clear to everyone. ------------------------------------------------------ HongKongMap: https://goo.gl/mhG4EK

The Grand Falls in Arizona, or “Chocolate Falls” as they’re referred to, is an absolutely stunning waterfall located on the Little Colorado River about 100 miles east of the east entrance to the Grand Canyon and 40 miles east of Flagstaff, Arizona. This amazing waterfall is 18 feet taller than Niagara Falls at a towering 185 feet! The best times to see the falls are between March & April and during monsoon season in the Summer, but make sure your vehicle is ready to handle the rough, unpaved road! DIRECTIONS FROM FLAGSTAFF, AZ: Take I-40 East to exit 211 toward Winona. Turn left onto Winona Rd and continue 2.1 miles before turning right onto Leupp Rd. Continue on Leupp Rd for 14.8 miles before turning left onto Indian Route 70. (The turn is marked by a sign for “Grand Falls Bible Church.”) Continue on Indian Route 70 for 8.6 miles and then you will see “parking lot” and restrooms up ahead. Using these exact coordinates in Google Maps should take you on the correct route so that you don’t end up on the wrong side of the river: 35.425610, -111.195656. If it tries to take you through the city of Leupp, then you’re going the wrong way. Never Stop Exploring is produced by Kyle Frager. The continued significant reduction in the extent of the summer sea ice cover is a dramatic illustration of the pronounced impact increased global temperatures are having on the Arctic regions. There has also been a significant reduction in the relative amount of older, thicker ice. Satellite-based passive microwave images of the sea ice cover have provided a reliable tool for continuously monitoring changes in the extent of the Arctic ice cover since 1979. The ice parameters derived from satellite ice concentration data that are most relevant to climate change studies are sea ice extent and ice area. This visualization shows ice extent in the background and ice area in the foreground. Ice extent is defined here as the integrated sum of the areas of data elements (pixels) with at least 15% ice concentration while ice area is the integrated sum of the products of the area of each pixel and the corresponding ice concentration. Ice extent provides information about how far south (or north) the ice extends in winter and how far north (or south) it retreats toward the continent in the summer while the ice area provides the total area actually covered by sea ice which is useful for estimating the total volume and therefore mass, given the average ice thickness. For more information about these ice datasets, see The Journal of Geophysical Research VOL. 113, C02S07, doi:10.1029/2007JC004257, 2008 In 2007, Arctic summer sea ice reached its lowest extent on record - nearly 25% less than the previous low set in 2005. At the end of each summer, the sea ice cover reaches its minimum extent and what is left is what is called the perennial ice cover which consists mainly of thick multi-year ice flows. The area of the perennial ice has been steadily decreasing since the satellite record began in 1979, at a rate of about 10% per decade. This visualization shows the annual Arctic sea ice minimum from 1979 to 2010. A graph is overlaid that shows the area in million square kilometers for each year's minimum day. The '1979','2007', and '2010' data points are highlighted on the graph. For more information, please visit: http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/vis/a000000/a003800/a003802/index.html

Every year we come across bizarre and strange sightings that have been picked up by the Google camera, and today we have a look at some of the stranger sights spotted by their satellites. Learn about the BIGGEST of everything Monday, Wednesday, and Friday just subscribe! 13 - Refreshes like nothing on earth… This giant Coca-Cola sign is visible from the air and was captured by Google earth in Chile. Sometimes referred to as maptervising, this giant logo was put in place to celebrate their 100th Anniversary. Whether this was the first time maptervising was used, I’m not sure – but we know of several companies who use giant adverts to advertise their products. The unique fact about this one though, is the sign is made from 70,000 empty Coke bottles. 12 - Free Hand… It looks like an intriguing piece of artwork, but it’s actually an aerial shot taken by Google Earth cameras. This one is located in the middle of the desert in China. Of course, speculations ran high as to what it could possible be. Some suggested underground testing facilities, while others thought it could be military runways. The truth wasn’t quite as exciting, but not bad anyway… they are roads used for test drills. 11 - Connect the dots… These are oil fields with connecting roads located in Rio Negro in Argentina. This is a spectacular image which we can thank Google Earth for! 10 - The dark knight rises… Over in Okinawa in Japan they have a very special sight that can only be viewed from above. It’s the Batman symbol, and you’ll have to fly over the roof top of the Air Force’s 44th Fighter Squadron. It’s not new though, and has been around since the 80’s… it’s only come to light recently thanks to Google Earth. 9 - Look closely… You’ll have to stretch your imagination for this one. A guy in Sweden truly believes that this obscure image from Google Earth is the real-life Nessie. 8 - Crawl back into your shell… You’ve probably heard of the massive Japanese Spider Crab, they’re literally enormous but they’re nowhere near the size of this crab that was spotted on Google earth. It’s earned the nickname Crabzilla, and is roughly 50-feet wise. It was spotted in Kent Harbour in the UK. Legit or not, I’ll let you decide. 7 - Stranger Things… The second season of Stranger Things sees an underground complex network of roots emerge. When I see this image that was captured by Google Earth, I think of that – and it leaves me feeling a little unsettled. 6 - All ears… We head to Alberta in Canada and meet the Badlands Guardian. This geological marvel looks like a man with a headdress wearing an earphone. It’s obviously not that, but rather a road and an oil well that have been installed on the site. If you go and view this image on Google Earth, and you scroll further to the left, you’ll spot another face which looks like someone is yawning and waking up from a deep sleep. 5 - Shrouded in mystery… Could this possibly be the remains of a pyramid that has not been excavated yet? Google Earth captured this image somewhere across Egypt, and reports suggest that due to the current economic situation in Egypt, they’ve limited the number of sites being excavated and researched. Others who have spotted this image believe it to just be a natural part of the landscape. I’m leaning towards pyramid, how about you? 4 - Blast from the past… In more ways than one! This is the world’s best-preserved meteorite on earth and it’s located a few minutes from Interstate 40 and Route 66. It's’ said an asteroid hit earth at 26,000 miles per hour 50,000 years ago and those are the remains! The crater is roughly 1 mile across, 2.4 miles in circumference and 550ft deep. You’re welcome to go and visit the site yourself! Its open to tourists! 3 - Hypnotising… These fields captured by Google Earth are seriously hypnotising, and remind me of a patchwork quilt. 2 - You decide… Sand banks? Aliens? Wake of water? Deep sea creature? No one seems to have legitimate answers, so if you can shed some light on that bizarre image captured on Google Earth, please share it with us down below!

I made a blower and some charcoal at the new area in order to create higher temperatures in for advancing my material technology. I took Fan palm leaves and fashioned them into an impellor (about 25 cm in diameter) held in a split stick as a rotor. I then built a housing from clay (slightly more than 25 cm diameter with inlet and outlet openings about 8cm in diameter) and assembled the blower. I opted not to make a bow or cord mechanism as I’ve done before due to the complexity and lower portability of such a device. The lighter impellor material (leaf instead of the previous bark) made it easier to spin by hand anyway as it has a lower momentum. Each stroke of the spindle with the hand produces 4 rotations, so about 2 strokes per second gives 480 rpm. The blower increases the heat of a fire when blowing into it and I would guess it’s more effective than a blow pipe and lungs but don’t how it would compare to a primitive pot or bag bellows for air supply. A small furnace was made and then fired with wood fuel. The wood was wet but managed to fuse and partially met sand in the furnace. To get better performance, I made charcoal from the poor quality wood. I made a reusable charcoal retort to make it. This was different from the previous reusable mound I built as it consisted of a mud cylinder with air holes around the base. To use, it was stacked with wood and the top was covered with mud as opposed to the previous design which had a side door. The fire was lit from the top as usual and when the fire reached the air entries at the base (after an hour or two) the holes were sealed and the mound left to cool. The top was the broken open the next day and the charcoal removed. Another batch was made using significantly less effort as the main structure of the mound did not need to be rebuilt each time, only the top. Iron bacteria was again used to test the furnace. Charcoal and ore was placed in the furnace and the blower utilised. After an hour of operation the furnace was left to cool. The next day the furnace was opened and only slag was found with no metallic iron this time. I think increasing the ratio of charcoal to ore might increase the temperature so that the slag flows better. Further experiments will be needed before I get used to the new materials here. The new area I’m in is significantly wetter than the old area and this has affected the order in which I create my pyro technology. The old spot was a dry eucalypt forest with an abundant source of energy dense fire wood. As a result, I developed kilns early on, powered with wood fuel and a natural draft, before developing charcoal fuelled forced air furnaces. In contrast, the new area is a wet tropical rainforest, where wood rots nearly as soon as it falls off the tree in the damp conditions. Wood is also more difficult to collect here because of hordes of mosquitoes (away from the fire) and unpleasant, spiky plants. Because of this I developed a forge blower first as it allows higher temperatures from a lower quantity and quality of fuel. This poor quality wood can further be improved by converting it to charcoal first. In future, it may be necessary to cut fire wood green and dry it as opposed to picking it up off the ground dead as was preferable in the Eucalyptus forest I came from. The blower is also handy for stoking a tired campfire back into flames, I simply scrape the coals into a small mound around the nose of the tuyere and spin the impellor. I use the blower each day I’m at the hut for this purpose to save blowing on hot coals each time I need a fire for something. Curtis Mays was enjoying a celebratory meal out when his order was subject to some confusion. It wasn’t a big deal, but after he’d finished eating he requested to see his receipt anyway. As he read over the note, though, a sickening message caught his eye. Mays is a grandfather from Sea Cliff, New York. In June 2018 the family man had traveled to New York City to celebrate Father’s Day with his daughter and granddaughter. During the afternoon, the threesome visited the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden in Astoria where they enjoyed some lunch. The family outing got off to a pleasant start. Mays had his daughter and granddaughter for company and their waitress seemed very friendly. Talking about the server, in June 2018 the grandfather told WABC, “She was very nice. She comes up to the table. ‘Hi, how are you doing?’” ----------------------------------- STORY LINK: https://www.nollygrio.com ------------------------------------ CONNECT WITH US: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nollygrionews Become a Patron: https://www.patreon.com/nollygrio On the web: http://www.nollygrio.com For inquiries, please contact: [email protected] ------------------------------------ VIDEO CREDITS: Background Music: Audioblocks: https://www.audioblocks.com Day 7: https://soundcloud.com/day7official Footages: https://www.videoblocks.com ------------------------------------ #nollygrio

Subscribe my Channel Editquik Productions here:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVbOzg4tW_Aym0WMTmq2Uuw?view_as=subscriber This video present my trip to Matheran in 2019 summer. This will give glimpses of matheran points market place and toy train. We stayed Bike Heritage Resort. It's the best experience. About Matheran : It is a hill station and a municipal council in Karjat Tahsil in the Raigad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is one of the smallest hill station in India. It is located on the Western Ghats range at an elevation of around 800 m (2,625 feet) above sea level. It is about 90 km far from Mumbai, and 120 km from Pune. Matheran's proximity to many metropolitan cities makes it a popular weekend getaway for urban residents. Matheran, which means "forest on the forehead" (of the mountains) is an eco-sensitive region, declared by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. It is Asia's only automobile-free hill station. There are around 38 designated look-out "points" (viewpoints) in Matheran, including the Panorama Point that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding area and also the Neral town. From this point, the view of sunset and sunrise is dramatic. The Louisa Point offers crystal clear view of the Prabal Fort. The other points are the One Tree Hill Point, Heart Point, Monkey Point, Porcupine Point, Rambagh Point, and more. To stay there, there are plenty of hotels. There are many Parsi bungalows. Beautiful old British-style architecture is preserved in Matheran. The roads are not metalled and are made of red laterite earth. Detailed Map of Matheran Some of the popular sights include: Lake Charlotte - a spectacular waterfall overflows from the lake during and shortly after the monsoons. At other times, it is peaceful surrounded by dense evergreen forests, bird song and pretty butterflies. Panorama point - This point is a very beautiful one, for you can see a panoramic view of the hills on the left and a beautiful Ulhas River to the right. This point is quite far from Matheran station / market, but you can negotiate a good price for your travel if you do not feel like walking. This point is perfect for Sunrise and is also called "Sunrise Point." Heart Point - Here one can see a beautiful scene of the valley and this point looks like heart, so it is named so. Monkey Point - Here you can see the monkeys in large numbers and their mischief life-sized. Malang Point Luisa Point - The view from here to the waterfall (run off from Charlotte Lake) during the monsoon is spectacular. Honeymoon Hill - According to locals, a British officer had his honeymoon actually arranged at this point. Also, latter Parsis used to harvest honey at his point, hence its name. Echo Point - True to its name, this point has some superb echo effect! Feel free to scream loud at the point and hear the echo coming from distant places through the valleys. Charlotte Lake Charlotte Lake Lords Point One tree Hill - A unique hill, which has only one big tree growing on it. The way to reach the hill is a bit risky and steep. Olympia - There is a Horse Race-course. Paymasters Park Mount Barry Artist Point Khandala Point- Very close to the Matheran market place. Alexandar Point Rambaug Point Little Chowk Point - Spectacular view and towards the southmost tip of Matheran. Chowk Point - Spectacular view and towards the southmost tip of Matheran. It's been nicknamed the ROLLER COASTER BRIDGE because of it's super steep slope and appearance of being a bridge to the sky. That's the Eshima Ohashi Bridge straddling Shimane and Tottori prefecture in Japan. Facts about the Eshima Ohashi: ★ 1,446 meters long ★ 250 meters of continupus concrete in the center (the third longest Ramen bridge in the world!) ★ 6.1% grade slope on the Shimane Prefecture side ★ 5.1% grade on the Tottori side ★ The bridge needed to be high in the center to allow large shops to pass under. ☆ From the Shimane side, you can get the optical illusion view at the end of the street by the sea. ☆ If you have a good telephoto lens, go even further to the other side of the sea for a better shot. (Map below) The bridge has a good pedestrian footpath on both sides of the road. Bicycles are not allowed on the footpath so stay on the main road with the car, to the left side. There is an observation point on the top that offers sweeping views all the way to Daisen (mountain). The closest major access point is Yonago Station and airport on the Sea of Japan. From there, take a train to Sakaiminato and rent a bicycle or grab a taxi. Sakaiminato is also famous for Japanese anime and the main street is like a museum of monsters! The bridge is a 20 minute ride from Sakai Minato. Take food with you from the station. Check out why no aquarium in the world has a great white shark! This top 10 list explains why these most dangerous sharks in the world can't be kept in captivity anywhere! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "STRANGEST Artifacts Ever Discovered!" video here: https://youtu.be/gG0XGt3jFZA Watch our "SECRETS Casinos DON'T Want You To Find Out!" video here: https://youtu.be/hAoABuvzOZM Watch our "RAREST And Most EXPENSIVE Cars In The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/MtCnWSqqilg 7. They Need A Lot of Space Many people visit aquariums hoping to catch a glimpse of sharks up close. Especially the great white, but no exhibit like this exists anywhere in the world. Since 1955, numerous attempts have been made by aquariums to place great white sharks into captivity. 6. Captivity Causes Depression Marine biologists believe that because we are unable to create a suitable artificial environment for great whites in captivity causes them to become depressed. They aren’t at all happy with their new environment. 5. They Injure Themselves A common behavior among great whites in captivity is to ram their heads into the walls of their tanks. There are several theories for why this happens. Some scientists believe that being in a tank disrupts the great white’s keen sense of electroreception, which allows them to sense the electrical charges in the water around them, making it difficult for sharks to detect the tank walls. 4. It’s Expensive From the very first steps of capturing and transporting a great white shark to keeping one in captivity, exhaustive resources are required. When the Monterey Bay Aquarium was tasked with transporting a 4-foot-long great white from Malibu to northern California in 2004, a custom mobile tank had to be built. 3. Not Good For Viewing The introduction of a great white shark exhibit would most likely result in many disappointed customers. A tank large enough to accommodate a great white shark would be impractical in size, making it difficult for hopeful spectators to catch a consistent, close view of the predator. 2. They Do Not Survive in Captivity Generally, there are two possible outcomes when a great white is placed in confinement: death or release back into the wild after a short stint at an aquarium, usually refusing to eat and injuring itself. 1. Public Perception Is Changing Information about the effects of confinement on certain species has become more transparent and accessible than ever in recent years. Documentaries such as Blackfish and The Cove have brought widespread attention to the inhumane nature of keeping marine life in captivity.
