TOP 4 RELATIONSHIP MARKETING EXAMPLES YOU NEED TO TRY Building a brand community is vital in today's world - but it's not easy. That's why in this video Cherene Etemadi, Marketing Director at Human Marketing, unpacks relationship marketing - the process of connecting with your audience on a more human level. She identifies the best relationship marketing examples - strategies top brands have used to facilitate customer engagement and loyalty. She talks about how each strategy speaks to customers at a different stage in the buyer's journey. We hope these examples inspire you to try relationship marketing yourself! EXAMPLE 1: HBO AND GAME OF THRONES USE RELATIONSHIP MARKETING TO GENERATE AWARENESS First impressions are everything when it comes to attracting customers and generating brand awareness - the first stage in the buyer's journey. At this stage, relationship marketing helps you create an instant connection. HBO used relationship marketing to generate awareness of the Game of Thrones season five premiere. They reached out to GOT fans on social media and asked them to create memes and funny, entertaining social content about the show. HBO showcased the best material on the official Game of Thrones social media accounts. What were the results of this relationship marketing strategy? The season five premiere was the most-watched in HBO history and they won a Webby Award for Best Overall Social Presence. EXAMPLE 2: B2B HEALTHCARE COMPANY PRESCRIBE WELLNESS USES RELATIONSHIP MARKETING TO CONVERT LEADS INTO CUSTOMERS Prescribe Wellness, a healthcare company that connects local pharmacies to patients, used relationship marketing to convert leads into customers by building an engaging website. Most B2B healthcare companies have sterile website designs that no one wants to spend much time on. Prescribe wellness saw that they could differentiate themselves from their competition AND leverage relationship marketing at the same time by being different. They built a simple, sleek, visually appealing website that pharmacists and patients enjoyed using. This relationship marketing strategy paid off. Pharmacists quickly became loyal customers. Prescribe Wellness also received the Website of the Day award from the Favourite Website Awards. EXAMPLE 3: NYX COSMETICS USES RELATIONSHIP MARKETING TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS Relationship marketing doesn't stop after the sale. You must nurture customer relationships post-purchase. This helps drive retention and engagement. It also turns customers into brand ambassadors - people who love your brand so much that they promote it to others. For many brands, unboxing is a vital post-purchase experience that can make or break customer retention. NYX decided to nurture their customers post-purchase by creating an unboxing competition - a relationship marketing strategy. They asked influencers to produce videos showing themselves opening NYX packages. NYX promised a reward to the top creators a free trip to Los Angeles and crowned the winner, "NYX Beauty Blogger of the Year." Today's consumers are savvy when it comes to making decisions. They buy from brands they can trust. The best way to earn their trust is by leveraging relationship marketing whenever you can - at every stage in the buyer's journey. Well, you can’t run a business without customers and customers won’t come to you if they don’t know you exist. Inbound marketing is a clearly defined type of marketing with a focused approach to acquiring customers. Inbound marketing is defined as a type of marketing focused on search engine optimisation (SEO), content, social media presence, and having a defined brand. To simplify inbound marketing brings the customers to you. For example, you could promote a new product or service your company is offering on social media. A customer who is looking for exactly what your company provides contacts you interested in what you’re selling. You didn’t have to seek this customer individually out or market to them directly. Inbound marketing focuses more on reaching broad (but still specific) categories of interested customers by using high-quality content. Before anyone can do business with you, they need to know that you exist. Here's 5 brand awareness strategies you can use to get your business noticed! If this is your first time visiting this channel, thank you and welcome. If you'd like to learn more about brand building, marketing strategy and marketing automation, hit that subscribe button for more videos just like this one. So, brand awareness, what does that mean? For people to be able to do business with you, they first need to know that you exist. Number one, influencer marketing. Find websites, bloggers, YouTubers, fan pages, that speak to the same audience that you do, and build a relationship. So one example, Casey Neistat, 9.4 million subscribers. "Francine only watches kids' shows that are in Spanish, so I tweeted that it's hard to find kids' shows in Spanish on Netflix. Veronica works for a Spanish kids show and sent Francine all this. Veronica, thank you." - Casey Neistat Notice how Veronica was being human and authentic, and how she wasn't salesy and sleazy? Being authentic is vital. Veronica now has her foot in the door because she listened. Collaboration is everything online. Similar to influencer marketing, joint ventures also involve engaging with brands with similar target audiences. Think about win-win situation like mail exchanging. If you had a similar amount of newsletter subscribers, you could do email exchange. When your featured on their newsletter and you feature them on yours. Hosting joint events. If you have similar audiences, hosting events together could save on a lot of costs as events can get really costly at the end of the day. One example might be a protein powder manufacturer and a local gym partnering up to host an event together. Public relations. The job of the PR agency as opposed to an advertising agency is that a PR agency gets you exposure in the form of editorial, being published on blogs, news websites, on YouTube channels. This is known as earned media or free media. A stronger corporate image can boost your stock price by up to six percent. The same logic can be applied to startups looking for investors. If you had six percent increase in investors saying yes, would you take that? Another example, do you guys know Dragon's Den? It's a show where entrepreneurs have three minutes to pitch their ideas to five multi-millionaires who then have opportunity to invest their own money into the business. So a lot of the times these entrepreneurs get massive offers just to the shock of the world when they decline it. And at the end of the day, the objective was not to get funding from investors, but to rather get the PR that appearing on the show would give. Being controversial. Nothing better than controversy to get your brand noticed. Let me show you the best example that I could find about being controversial. Excerpt from ad example: "So, how do you make the world believe your poop doesn't stink? Or in fact that you never poop at all? Poo-pourri. Poo-pourri is the before you go toilet spray that has proven to trap those embarrassing odors at the source, and save relationships." And the final point that I have, affiliate marketing. Getting others to sell your product and giving them a commission for sale is a great way of driving awareness and sales. You can either create your own affiliate program by using tools like SamCart, or you can partner up with an affiliate network and let them help you with the technical aspect. Regardless, getting these people to sell your products is gold. Thank you so much for watching today. If you like this video, please hit that subscribe button for more videos just like this one. And until the next time, ciao for now.

How do you rebrand a company? How do you grow a business? How do you stand out in the market? What role do designers play in all of this? Standing out in a crowded marketplace is more important than ever. The best way to accomplish that is to build a meaningful, recognizable brand for your business. A brand needs to reflect the values and quality of the work a company puts into their product, while also helping that product to stick out on the shelf. “Building a Brand” is a series where we take you behind the scenes as Blind helps to rebrand Hamilton Family Brewery. In this episode, we meet the clients, Hamilton Family Brewery, which was founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Josh and Crysten Hamilton. Since then, their little brewery in Rancho Cucamonga, California has ballooned in size because of its growing popularity. The Hamilton's are looking to take the next step into retail, but Josh, who has been doing the design for the company up to this point, does not feel confident in creating a recognizable, stand out brand for that next phase. In this series, we'll give you a behind the scenes look at this process, from start to finish. You'll see how ideas are shaped and take the form of a new identity system, packaging, messaging, website, and ultimately see the brand launch. 0:00 – Introducing Building a Brand 1:00 – Meet Blind 1:27 – First client meeting 2:13 – Meet Josh Hamilton 2:36 – What are the business goals? 3:33 – What is a rebrand? Buy my book today! http://bit.ly/bestbrandingbook Check out my Podcast: https://anchor.fm/caffeinated-content Contact me: http://www.edwindearborn.com/contact/ Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwindearborn/ Brand Identity - Elements, Importance & Examples (For The Digital Era) The last decade (or hell, just the last five years) has seen an incredible shift in the way companies market their products; with social media, robust search engines, and access to mobile technology, we're literally drowning in content-most of which slips right under the radar. And yet, content marketing is one of the main drivers of businesses today. It's a puzzling scenario for sure, but the simple explanation is that businesses succeeding in marketing are those with a clear, undeniable perspective...or in other words, a strong brand. The next step is to create the look, feel, and voice of the brand that will be carried through all marketing channels - from the website, to social media, advertisements, and packaging. A brand's visual vocabulary will be reflected in your colors, fonts, logo and overall style. You must implement several strategies to help grow brand awareness and strengthen the brand. It builds a robust social media presence using all of the appropriate channels to communicate directly with the desired target audience whether on Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube or Instagram. The agency creates a PR strategy that provides placements in the right channels, such as trade journals, mass consumer publications, television and print interviews. Customer experience is now considered a key metric to measure brand success. Those that promise compelling experiences are the ones graduated from building long-lasting customer relationships. Every opportunity a user gets to interact with the brand is an opportunity for the business owner to enhance brand image. Whether it is the virtual interaction afforded by digital technologies or face-to-face interaction, it is the positive user experience that can strengthen the user’s bond with the brand. The brand is not synonymous with the logo or a website anymore. It is more about tone, visuals, and behaviors. When these three components stand true to the core brand message, customers not only enjoy consistent user experience but also develop an affinity towards the brand. Today, brands cannot do without their digital presence. Subscribe to my YouTube channel.

http://602communications.com/ Creating funny ads is simpler than you might think. The secret is understanding the ten humor archetypes that are the foundation of humor ads. In this three-minute emotional marketing lesson video, emotional marketing speaker Graeme Newell shows how to create laughs using the absurd solution technique. Learn how to use this simple formula to entertain and move your customers to a deeper connection with your brand. We have all seen the funniest commercials and wondered how we can use that same advertising humor in our humorous advertisements to make great humor commercials. Today, I'm going to tell you how you can use emotional branding and advertising humor to make the funniest commercials you can. Emotional Branding and Humor To a lot of advertising copy writers, humor in advertising is a far-off fantasy that is for "funny people," and not them. Emotional branding is a way of looking at the funniest commercials around and discovering what the key, underlying concepts are of the humor commercials. In truth, the funniest commercials aren't just born out of a flash of advertising humor inspiration -- they are carefully crafted with key concepts of emotional branding in mind. How the Funniest Commercials do it The funniest commercials around follow set rules that govern humor. Humor commercials use these 'creative vehicles' to deliver a strong message while still giving the audience the humor in advertising they desire. In this particular video, I'm going to tell you about one of the most powerful emotional branding tools humorous advertisements use -- the absurd next step. Humor in Advertising Using Absurd Next Step The absurd next step is an emotional branding tool used in the funniest commercials to create great advertising humor. It depicts a relatively normal situation, and then absolute insanity is introduced into the humor commercials, and pure chaos ensues. This formula has been followed by humorous advertisements all over the world to great effect. All you have to do is to follow the emotional branding steps of humor in advertising and you too can create great humor commercials. Humorous Advertisements Using Positive and Negative Absurd Next Step Within the emotional branding humor archetype of absurd next step are two advertising humor variations. You can go either positive with your humor commercials, or you can go negative with your humorous advertisements. While the archetype stays the same -- it's the same general concept -- the method of delivering the concept differs between various humor commercials. With this an advertising copy writer has more tools at her disposal when writing humor commercials. Positive Absurd Next Step in Advertising Humor When using absurd next step in a positive manner in humorous advertisements, you have a set of steps you must follow. The emotional branding humor archetype here is to establish a normal situation at the beginning of the humor commercials, introduce the product, and then show the situation spiraling totally out of control. This would be like the funniest commercials that show a man using the product and then deciding that he can suddenly perform brain surgery, or a humorous advertisement showing a deal so good that a woman needs a 16-wheeler to haul out everything she bought. Negative Absurd Next Step in Humor Commercials The other way to use the emotional branding comedy archetype of absurd next step is to flip it on its head and deny a need. This type of advertising humor shows the horrible consequences of what happens when the product causes things to spiral out of control. The humor in advertising used here is to deny a need and appeal to the dark side of the audience. We all like laughing at the misfortune of others in advertising humor, and your customers are no different. Show a man getting pummeled by a giant rat when he tries to catch one using cheesy snacks, or how eating beef jerky will make you so bold that you mess with Sasquatch (it doesn't end well).

If you want to build a personal brand like mine, Gary Vaynerchuk or Seth Godin, a great place to start is Facebook. Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=neilvkpatel Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog/ Facebook is the most popular social network on the web. According to Alexa.com it is the third most popular site in the world. If you want to build a personal brand, you should follow these steps: 1. Post daily on Facebook - The content you post (status updates, videos, pictures) should be related to the industry you want to brand yourself in. For example, I want to be known as a marketer. So the content I post on Facebook is marketing related. 2. You need to engage within your community - When someone messages you, you need to read it and respond. When someone leaves a comment, you need to respond. There are also groups and fan pages within your niche... make sure you participate on those as well. Comment, respond and engage. 3. Leverage live videos - Facebook puts a lot of emphasis on live videos. It is their version of reality tv. Consider going live on Facebook at least once a week because it will be seen by more people compared to just posting status updates. Follow those three things and you will build a strong personal brand using Facebook.
